Stargate Description Episode I took the pic from:
Woohoo, pictures of the gate from the movie! This is how it all started afterall. Above, you see some images from Giza, Egypt, 1928, when the Stargate was discovered. Then, on the left, the gate on Abydos. Stargate, the movie
Well. After collecting all those stargate pictures, I figured it was about time to put up a good one of the gate at Cheyenne Mountain, Stargate Command. Since it is our gate, it deserved its place at the top. 4.7 Watergate
This is the gate on Abydos...
Right in the temple where Colonel O'Neill and Captain Carter step into to retrieve Dr. Daniel Jackson in the first episode!
1.1 Children of the Gods
This is the gate on Chulak, Teal'c's homeworld. It's where the team watches Skaa'ra and Sha're leave, taken as hosts for Apophis's wife and son.
1.2 Children of the Gods
This episode takes place on Earth, so no alternate gate. 1.3 The Enemy Within
This is Simarka, or P3X-593. It's the world with the women-unfriendly folks who kidnapped Carter, but she got them real good in the end.... 1.4 Emancipation
This is P3X-797, also known as the Land of Light. The Stargate is located on the dark side of the planet, which is where the Touched are banned to, while the Untouched live their lives on the Light side of the planet. 1.5 Broca Divide
This is P3X-513, the planet where Jonas Hanson from SG-9 was ruling as some sort of God. Jonas was the ex-boyfriend of Carter, and got killed in the end, as the primitives threw him in the wormhole to Earth with the Iris still closed. Talk about bugs on a windscreen.... 1.6 The First Commandment
This is P3X-562, the planet with the cute blue crystals. One of them knocked O'Neill out cold, then recreated his image, which went back to Earth with SG-1. 1.7 Cold Lazarus
This is the planet called P3X-774, where SG-1 met the Nox. Remember, the disappaered gate? SG-1, dying? Shot by Apophis? Luckily, revived again? 1.8 The Nox
This is P3X-8596, also know as Argos. It's the home of the Chosen, people chosen to die within a hundred days, due to some nano-virus, spread through a transmitter hidden in the statue of Pelops. 1.9 Brief Candle
Here we have Cimmeria, or P3x-974. Home of the Cimmerians, a race protected from the Goa'uld by a device called Thor's Hammer. The Hammer just transfers every Jaffa or Goa'uld to the caves, from where there is no escape. 1.10 Thor's Hammer
This is Ernest' planet, also known as P3X-972. The team found Catherine's fiance here, who's lived here all by himself for more than 50 years. The planet has an alien device displaying a 3D representation of an universal language between four races. 1.11 The Torment of Tantalus
A beautiful view on the gate of Chulak. Teal'c is trying to prevent that his son is being implanted with a young Goa'uld larvae, but the boy is sick with scarlet fever and ends up with the symbiote of his father. 1.12 Bloodlines
We don't get to see the Stargate of Oannes, or P3X-866, home of the creature Nem. 1.13 Fire and Water
This is also an episode without an alternate Stargate, since it takes place at the SGC. 1.14 Hathor
This planet is called Hanka, or P8X-987. SG-7 was stationed here in SGC project no. 169 to collect data on the accretion disk of a black hole during a local solar eclipse. Everybody from this planet got killed, except Cassandra.
1.15 Singularity
This is Cartage, or P3X-1279. Teal'c has to stand trial here for killing Hanna's father, and refuses to leave until he is punished. 1.16 Cor-ai
This is the second gate on Earth.
It was located on Antartica, and, after a mishap, Colonel O'Neill and Captain Carter were trapped here without knowing they were on Earth.
1.18 Solitudes
Altar, or P3X-989 is the home of Harlan, the last survivor of this world after it was destroyed by radiation. Harlan is the one that clones SG-1. 1.19 Tin Man
This is P3R-233, a highly radio-active planet destroyed and marked by the Goa'uld. Daniel finds, and of course touches, a quantum mirror and ends up in an alternate reality. 1.20 There but for the Grace of God
If we get to see any gates in this episode it's from previous episodes, since it's using flashbacks to previous missions. 1.21 Politics
Here we are on a Goa'uld attack vessel. It's on its way to destroy Earth. Apophis is the one behind the attack, and he placed his son Korel on board of this vessel to lead. 1.22 Within the Serpent's grasp
This is again the Gate on the Goa'uld attack vessel. Daniel is diving through, just in time, since you can see the nice bundle of explosives hooked to the ring.
2.1 The Serpent's Liar
This planet was called Nasya. Home of the Nasyans, and of Jolinar of Malkshur, a Tok'ra who has been hiding on this planet. Jolinar's host was dying, so it took Carter as a new host.
2.2 In the Line of Duty
This is the gate on Hadante, the prison of the Taldor. SG-1 is sent here after trespassing ancient ground with weapons and helping a murderer. This is where they meet Linea for the first time. Linea, the on that created a disease to wipe out a whole civilasation.
2.3 Prisoners
This is P7J-989, the planet where the keeper and the residents were living in a some sort of dome, where some sort of machines kept them alive. They entertained themselves with virtual reality kind of games, based on the memories of the residents.
2.4 The Gamekeeper
This is P3R-636, the planet where King Pyrus and his daughter Shyla, who enslaved their people to keep on sending naquada through the gate. Shyla misled Daniel to become her new addicted-to-the-sarcaphogus husband.
2.5 Need
This is the gate on Cimmeria, or P3X-974. The Cimmerians were safe on their planet, until the hammer was destroyed, and now the planet finds itself under attack. Gairwyn dials out to Earth to request their help.
2.6 Thor's Chariot
We don't get to see a gate on P5C-353, the planet from which they brought the alien orb that threw a spike to O'Neill's shoulder and kept him pinned to the wall. We do get to see the gateroom through the Earth's open gate, though, and I thought it was a pretty cool image. 2.7 Messag in a Bottle
Here is the gate on Chulak again. Rya'c, the son of Teal'c has been kidnapped and brainwashed by Apophis and SG-1, along with Master Bra'tac are coming to his rescue. 2.8 Family
This is again the gate on Abydos. Daniel returned here as promised, one year after he'd left. Sha're was here, pregnant of a child of Apophis. 2.9 Secrets
This is the gate on BP6-3Q1.
It's the planet with the big, giant bugs, and one of them stuck Teal'c in the back, making him very sick.
2.10 Bane
This gate actually only excists in Carter's memory, or better yet, Jolinar's memory. It's from a former Tok'ra homeworld which had been destroyed by a Goa'uld attack.
2.11 The Tok'ra part I
Here we see the gate on the current Tok'ra homeworld, P34-353J. The team brings General Carter here, since his life can't be safed with Earth medicine and he will become a host of Selmac.
2.12 The Tok'ra part II
PXY-887, home of the Salish and Spirits, is also one we don't get to see the Stargate from. 2.13 Spirits
This is such a beautiful gate. It's located on Madrona, also known as PX7-941.
That's the planet with the weather control device called the Touchstone.
2.14 The Touchstone
This is again the second gate on Earth.
NID stole it from Area 51 and hid it on some secret base in Southern Utah. Here, SG-1 found it again, along with the stolen Touchstone.
2.14 The Touchstone
Henry Boyd's team was on P3W-451. We see them dialing, but we don't get to see the gate. The planet was about to be sucked into a black hole. This is an image of the Earth's gate, locked to P3W-451. It took a special bomb to cut off the connection, letting the wormhole jump to another planet. 2.15 Matter of Time
This is P3R-272, a planet which is nothing more than a sealed room with some ancient inscriptions in a circle on the floor. There's also this device on the wall, which grabs O'Neill's head and accidently downloads the knowledge database into his brain. 2.16 The Fifth Race
This is Othala, the planet Colonel O'Neill gated to after reprogramming the computer to accept an eigth chevron. Here is were he met the Asgard for the first time.

2.16 The Fifth Race

This is PB5-926. It's the planet where Apophis crashed on, right in front of SG-1. They took him home, let him die then handed his body over to Sokar. 2.17 Serpent's Song
This gate is located on P3W-924, home of Ma'chello. The team gets acquinted, Daniel touches Ma'chello's personality transportation device and switches place with the dying Ma'chello, who wants a new life as Daniel Jackson.   2.18 Holiday
This gate is located on Pj2-445, the planet where the UAV crashed on, damaging an alien life-form that looks like some sort of plant. It also made the aliens on this planet sick and had a side-effect on SG-1 as well, the "plant-boy" discussion was one to not forget. 2.19 One false step
This gate is located on the planet Reetalia, home of the Reetou.
It's where SG-1 went, to determine the force of the rebellions, planning
to attack Earth.
2.20 Show and Tell
This gate is actually from the past. It's the Earth's gate, locked away in an armery in Washington D.C. Entering the gate only a fracture too soon, SG-1 ends up in the future, but than a very old Cassandra sends them back. 2.21 1969
This gate is located on board of Hathor's mothership. She's created a whole scenario similar to Earth's gateroom and all to mislead the captured SG-1. 2.22 Out of Mind
This is again the gate inside Hathor's ship, with a department looking exactly like the SGC. Hathor captured three members of SG-1 and goa'ulded Col. O'Neill. 3.1 Into the Fire

This is the gate on Hathor's planet, seen through the binoculars of Colonel Makepeace. In the end, Teal'c and Hammond came flying through to save SG-1.

3.1 Into the Fire
This episode takes place on Earth. The team hunts down a Goa'uld that's been hiding out on the planet. 3.2 Seth
This episode also takes place at the SGC, where three system lords plus Thor of the Asgard are negotiating a treaty to protect Earth. 3.3 Fair Game
Unfortunately we don't get to see the gate on PY3-948, where SG-1 did discover nine dead bodies in the Goa'uld Linvris chamber. 3.4 Legacy
This is Orban, home of Merrin, and the other children with the nanites in their brain to make them learn faster. Colonel O'Neill had some difficulty accepting that this girl Merrin was going to get her brain sucked out. 3.5 Learning Curve
This is actually the gate of Earth, only in an alternate reality. Remember, Kawalsky and Dr. Carter came through the quantum mirror, to get help for their world? 3.6 Point of View
PJ6-877 is the planet where SG-1 met Aris Boch, the bounty hunter. Again, we don't get to see the gate. 3.7 Deadman Switch
This is the planet of the Dark Ages!
Remember, where they were trying to dig a hole into that girl's head? The planet didn't have a name.
Oh, and doensn't this one look pretty similar to the one from The Nox?
3.8 Demons
This planet remained unnamed and we don't see the gate. It's the location of a training center for Apophis. 3.9 Rules of Engagement
This is P8X-873, the planet where SG-1 located Sha're and Daniel watched her being killed. Or did he? 3.10 Forever in a Day
Here we see the gate on Vyus, a planet affected by a chemical which caused infertility. Linea discovered this planet and came to "help". Ya sure... 3.11 Past and Present
No gate. We do get to Vorash, then the team leaves for Netu, a moon orbiting Sokar's homeplanet Delmak. 3.12 Jolinar's memories
This gate is located on Vorash, the temporary base of the Tok'ra. We've seen it in more eps. Here, Teal'c and Aldwin start their trip in order to rescue the rest of SG-1, Martouf and General Carter from Netu. 3.13 The Devil you know
Another episode that takes place on Earth when a couple of aliens try to take over the SGC. Carter is able to escape the mountain and calls Colonel Maybourne for help. 3.14 Foothold
This is the gate on Tollana, the new home of the Tollans. Korell crashed here after being chased by troops of Heru'ur, and was brought here to Triad. 3.15 Pretense
This gate is located on P4X-884. It has an interior laberatory, home of Togar and Urgo. Yep, that annoying guy that got into SG-1's heads and made them act all weird. 3.16 Urgo
This gate is located on the planet Edora, or P5C-768.

It's the planet where Colonel O'Neill is trapped on for three months, after the Stargate was buried due to a meteor hit.
3.17 A Hundred Days
This is the gate on the planet where Colonel O'Neill hid a package for the mole from the SGC to find it. The mole turned out to be Col. Makepeace. 3.18 Shades of Gray
This is the gate on Bedrosia, or P2X-416.
The Bedrosian denied the existance of the very Stargate, and kept SG1 prisoner in nice little boxes.
3.19 New Ground
We hardly get a good view on the gate on Kheb, the planet with the temple, then monk and Oma Desala, who was hiding the Harsesis child. But this is it, from the end of the episode, just before Oma leaves with the child. 3.20 Maternal Instinct
This planet is known as P7X-377. Here, the team found the crystal skull, lost Daniel along the way and ended up meeting the Quetzelcoatl, or the giant aliens. 3.21 Crystal Skull
Here we see a small bit of the gate on Thor's Asgard ship, the Biliskner. Thor lost the fight with the replicators and beamed up O'Neill to help destroy the ship, but of course, SG-1 had other ideas. 3.22 Nemesis
While Carter goes with Thor to try and save the Asgard homeworld, Jack and Teal'c are to destroy u bunch of replicators in a sub on Earth. No gate. 4.1 Small Victories
This is Euronda, a planet with technical advanced people, who were willing to trade their knowledge for military help in the war they've started themselves against the so-called Breeders.
4.2 The Other Side
On PX9-757, Apophis was building a new class of battleship. SG-1, with the powerful armbands from the Tok'ra, gated here to destroy the ship by sabotaging the cooling system. 4.3 Upgrades
This is Vorash, the base of the Tok'ra resistance. They take Shan'auc there, a former friend of Teal'c who claims to be able to interact with her symbiote. She wants to reveal all of her symbiote's secrets to the Tok'ra but, as Jack would say: never trust a snake. 4.4 Crossraods
This is again Vorash. This is where a member of the SGC attacked under the influence of Goa'uld mind-control technologie. Anise then came to Earth with her Zatarc-detection device, testing the whole crew.
4.5 Divide and Conquer
This is P4X-639, the planet with the device creating a subspace bubble, connecting 13 worlds, including Earth who are cut from normal flow of time, and thrown in some sort of time-loop.
4.6 Window of Opportunity
This is the gate in Russia, where a whole separate Stargate program was run, by knowledge of Colonel Maybourne from NID. The russians have found a water planet and brought back a myserious watersample.
4.7 Watergate
This stargate is again from Watergate, this time it is the gate under water. The team travels through the wormhole in a special sub.
4.7 Watergate
This is P3X-888, Chaka's homeworld. It's where Daniel and SG-11 are on an archaeologic survey mission, when Chaka abducts Daniel. SG-1 and SG-2 are coming to their aid for a search and rescue, and along that, Major Hawkins and Robert Rothman are taken by a goa'uld from the water and killed. 4.8 The first ones
This gate is located on P5S-381, the planet selected by the SGC for the Enkarans to live on. Unfortunately, also the Gadmeer selected this planet to become their homeworld, which became a challenge for SG-1 to solve. 4.9 Scorched Earth
Awww.... we see the dome, but no gate on P3R-118. The planet is frozen, therefor its inhabitants live in the dome. They enslave some of their own to work beneath th surface. 4.10 Beneath the Surface
This is Martin's homeworld. It was under attack by the Goa'uld, and Martin along with a few others escaped in a ship, in order to search for allies. 4.11 Point of no Return
While Jack and Teal'c are stuck in the X-301, Sam and Daniel gate to P2C-257 to locate a Tok'ra operative. Too bad we don't see a gate there though. 4.12 Tangent
Taks place on Earth. Jackson's former girlfriend Sara gets infested by a snake called Osiris. 4.13 The Curse
No gates. Ships and such, the sneaky Apophis and creepy Heru'ur, and Teal'c being tortured, but no gate. 4.14 The Serpent's Venom
Awww. We are staying on Earth again and Hammond quits his job. Luckily Jack and Harry manage to provide him with a safe return! 4.15 Chain Reaction
This is the gate on Earth in the year 2010. Bad, bad year. Bad people, ruling on Earth, too. They are trying to wipe out the whole civilization. Slowly. 4.16 2010
Earth again, this time with the Harsesis child teaching Daniel and the rest of the SGC what the hunger for power can destroy. 4.17 Absolute Power
We barely get a good view on the gate on P4X-347, the planet with the pedestral projecting a light-matrix hologram on the ceiling. 4.18 The Light
This gate is located on a moon, orbiting a gas giant, 42.000 light years from Earth. Also known as M4C-862. It's where the team met the cute little yellow tinkers, who in the end attacked them. 4.19 Prodigy
We get to see some of P9C-372 over the monitors in the control room, but I don't think it's the gate. 4.20 Entity
This gate is located on the planet Juna, or P3X-729. First, SG-1 has led the rebellion against the forces of Heru'ur. Then, Cronus came with his ship and claimed the planet. The SG-1 clones gated here, then the real SG-1, too, and Cronus was history.... grin. 4.21 Double Jeopardy
Here we have a Stargate on board of a ship, the ship conviscated from Chronus, to be precise. The gate is from Vorash and is used in an attempt to blow up a sun in order to take out Apophis and his fleet. It didn't exactly go according to plan, though... 4.22 Exodus
Now officially this gate is from Exodus, where the team uses it to blow up a sun, but I got it from the first part of this episode and since we don't get to see another gate here, I figured it would be okay. 5.1 Enemies
This episode takes place on Earth, where Teal'c is fighting for his life after being brainwashed by Apophis. 5.2 Treshold
This is Velona! Also known as P4X-636.
The whole civilisation on this planet was destroyed, and Orlin, the ascended alien, comes to Earth and sort of falls in love with Carter. Yeah-sure-ya-betcha..
5.3 Ascension
Oh, this is SO cool. This is a mini-stargate, build by Orlin in Carter's basement. This mini-gate only dials to one address, Velona. Orlin goes through, can Carter goes with him. 5.3 Ascension
This is P7S-441, the planet where Col. O'Neill got trapped on, along with the mysterious fifth member of his team, Lt. Tyler. 5.4 The Fifth Man
This is the planet K'Tau. SG-1 dialed here, overriding some dialing protocalls, causing a shift in the light spectrum yada yada something, making the sky red. 5.5 Red Sky
Wow. Beautiful image of the gate on P8X-987, also called Hanka. It had been 4 years since the team had visited the planet and now they are back to find a clue as to what is wrong with Cassandra.

5.6 Rite of Passage

Well. This should be P3X-888, Chaka's homeworld.

This view of the gate is from the beginning of Beast of Burden, where we see Chaka being kidnapped and taken to another world.

(and The First Ones)

This gate is on the planet where the humans had enslaved the Unas'.
They had managed to capture Chaka and SG1 gated here to try to free Chaka.
